Well folks after months of pointless messing around i think it's time we actually do something. NuttyCraft's first server wide project "NuttyCraft The Game" This project will basically be an ENTIRE map of adventure, obstacle courses, randomness, fun and awesomeness. All these elements will be put together with epic scenery and paths. The map will be able to have both single player and multiplayer components mixed in so you can have the best of both worlds.
The way i'm hoping to have this work is to split the server into two dimensions (One for our usual nonsense and the other for this project) they will each have a border of 10,000 by 10,000 (which is quite a lot when you think about it) The project will go for a fair while (until we are all statisfied we have put TONNES of content in to make this a map you will want to have) this probably means lets say one or two months (it's a big project what do you expect) Once we are done we will need to work on compressing it down to a reasonably small size (using the best tools and compressors we can find) then we will publish the map, advertise and bask in how awesome we are for finishing the most epic thing we have ever done. In the posts we would need some good artwork just to show we aren't complete utter noobs. Then we will possibly have more members and one epic map to go with it
Now firsty i ask you: Is this a good idea and do you have any things you think would work better or should be added into what the conditions of making it. Secondly WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP?
All this would first have to wait on getting the server back to a stable state (it has been all of the place today :S)
